Submit Necessary Documents: Next step if to collect your necessary documents that are required to open the PPF account. Documents include Identity Card and Address Proof.
You can submit any one of the document for Identity Card:
- Pan Card
- Voter ID Card
- Driving License
For Address Proof you can submit any one of the below listed documents:
- Telephone Bill
- Electricity Bill
- Ration Card
2 Passport recent photographs will be required while submitting the document. Make sure to carry original documents along photo copy so that bank person can verify the documents and your account can be created hassle free.
PPF Passbook: Once you provided above documents then you will have to fill up pay-in slip that will be used to transfer amount to your account very first time. A PPF Passbook is very much similar to a Bank Saving Passbook that is issued by bank.
